Maryland & Pennsylvania (Ma & Pa) Railroad Open House

Here we go again! With the success of the last Ma & Pa open house in July, we are going for our second run at the Ma & Pa Railroad Open House. This open house will feature many historical relics related to the Ma & Pa Railroad. Many presenters will have there personal displays with all kinds or artifacts, photos, and information to share. The open house will be on February 16th, 2020 from 2-5 pm. We are located inside the Ma & Pa Red Lion train station museum at 73 N. Main Street, Red Lion, PA 17356.

The Model Railroad will also be open and have a local theme with Ma & Pa, Stewartstown Railroad, and Yorkrail models operating throughout.

Model Railroader’s Open House

Model Railroad TCA Open House

October 17 &18, 2018, 6-9:00 pm

The Red Lion Train Station Model Railroaders are holding a TCA and Public Open House of their 3-rail O Gauge and N Gauge model railroad layouts located in the historic Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad’s Red Lion Train Station at 73 N. Main St. (Route 24, one block north of center square) Red Lion, PA 17356.

Admission is FREE, but donations are greatly appreciated.

DIRECTIONS TO THE STATION:

From the intersection of Routes 30 and 83 in York, PA: Proceed 3 miles East on Route 30 to the Mt. Zion Road / Route 24 interchange, exit and turn right at the traffic light onto Mt Zion Road / Route 24 South. Proceed 6 ½ miles on Route 24 S to Red Lion. The train station is located on your left just past the signal light at High St.   Look for the “OPEN” flag and sign, and red caboose.

The Red Lion Train Station Model Railroaders are holding an Open House of their 3-rail O Gauge, S and N Gauge, and LEGO model railroad layouts located in the historic Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad’s Red Lion Train Station at 73 N. Main St.  (PA Rt. #24, one block north of center square) Red Lion, PA 17356.

Admission is FREE, but donations are greatly appreciated.

We will be raffling off (4) complete ready-to-run train sets including a Thomas & Friends and a Polar Express set. Winners will be drawn New Year’s Eve at 11:00 PM. You need not be present to win. Tickets are $1.00 each or (6) for $5.00.
